Lovely morning.Yesterday evening I went to see a musical performance by one of my students. It was an interesting musical with an interesting story and visuals. It was a wonderful two and a half hours. It was a great experience for me to see my student, who is usually very reserved and quiet, perform so well on stage. I remembered that when I said to her that it was hard for her to do so many things every day, she replied “I love it all so I can keep doing it”. As she said, even if we have one bad day, if there are so many things we love to do, we can do it again. And maybe we have the power to produce ourselves in each place.
So, at the end of the year, I thought it would be interesting to look back on this year and to think about how we can produce ourselves in the next year. As we look back over the year we can look at ourselves a little more objectively and see how we have changed over the year and what we want to be next year.
As you write down who you want to be and what you want to do, look back over the year and write down your values, your core values and what you absolutely need. Of course, you will also write down your so-called faults, the things you think you are lacking but in a different way they are also your charms. Write down in words how you want to change them.
By writing them down in words and with your own hands, you will be able to see what your goals are for the coming year and how you can live your life in a way that makes you more joyful. I know you are busy at the end of the year, but try to take some time out for yourself. Take some time for yourself and give yourself a pat on the back for all the hard work you have done this year.
