Lovely morning. When you feel tired at the end of the day, it may be important to take a relaxing bath, listen to your favourite music, move around a bit and take deep, steady breaths to calm your mind. We do a lot of different things in a day – we go to school, we work in a company, we are active in a club.
There will always be times when our feelings are disturbed for one reason or another. We may be busy with tasks and deadlines. However, this can have a negative impact on your body and your mind if you become overwhelmed. When you are tired, you may become irritable and say hurtful things to your loved ones, you may not notice your family’s problems, you may feel small and envious and your mind may suffer.
But that’s not who you really are. That’s why it’s important to rest your body, rest your mind and get back to your true self. Sighing in front of other people can hurt their feelings, so of course it’s best not to sigh in front of them, but it’s okay to sigh when you have a moment to yourself. A sigh is a deep exhalation of breath. Sighing is a good way to get rid of the bad feelings inside you, because you can put the bad feelings inside you into the breath you are breathing out. And if you can let those feelings out, even just a little bit, you might feel a little bit lighter.
Then you can take a little time for yourself and do something you like. Maybe you’d like to have a nice piece of chocolate. Listen to your favourite song on your earphones and let it transport you into its world. Take a shower to wash away your tiredness and then take a rest in the bathtub. Give your body and your mind the rest it deserves, give it the love it deserves, and praise yourself for a hard day’s work. Then you can wake up the next morning with a new feeling and a fresh start.
