Lovely morning. Two years have passed since I realised that I started muttering Lovely Morning every morning, and I have written my morning tweets without missing a single day since 13 April 2020, when I started muttering my feelings in 140 characters or less. Whenever I felt my heart overflowing with things I wanted to say, the 140-character tweets somehow doubled, and then doubled again, and I have expressed my feelings along with photographs.
I have written what I felt about the people and things I met at that time, what I felt about novels and news, what I felt about films and dramas, what I felt while working and interacting with my family and friends, as I woke up in the morning and as my heart desired. Some days were sunny, some rainy, some hot, some cold, the season of falling cherry blossoms, some days with white clouds in a blue sky, some days when the whole city was coloured with beautiful autumn leaves, and some days with pure white snow.
In the meantime, you read, liked and commented on my morning musings, you read my morning musings aloud, you transcribed them in your notebooks, sometimes you even uploaded the audio and text of the moment on Twitter, my heart’s musings connecting with your hearts on Twitter! I am truly and sincerely grateful for the time I have felt.
Especially in the first part of the last two years, when a state of emergency was declared and we lost the chance to meet and interact directly with people, I was amazed at how we could connect heart to heart in this way amongst the world of letters. There are pros and cons to the use of social networking, but I would be happy if I could use it in a way that makes people’s hearts happy.
I sincerely want to continue writing every morning, so I hope you will read my tweets when you see them on your timeline. Wishing you all a beautiful morning today! And have a fabulous day!
Lovely morning as alaways.
