Lovely morning.The year is almost over. What has this year been like for you? Although there is still the looming threat of an unseen virus haunting our lives, and although the way we think, live and work has changed so much from two years ago, it’s still great to be living with the changes.

Just by looking back and writing in our journals about what we have done this year, we can see how hard we have worked every day to achieve so much. At the same time, however, some of you may be feeling negative about the year. This negativity can be described as “the cause of the brake on action”. It could be “anxiety because I don’t know it well”, “anxiety because I’ve never done it before”, “not wanting to do it because I don’t think I can do it”, “not wanting to do it because I don’t understand it”, “fear because I can’t picture it succeeding”.

For example, let’s say there’s a game here that’s popular with everyone and you’re a bit curious about it. Instead of thinking that you won’t try it because it looks too difficult, you can try it for the first time even if you don’t know anything about it, and even if the result is terrible, you will learn something from it. You may feel that you should have known some of the rules first, or you may feel that you can do it after some practice.

Whether you decide that you want to continue playing, or that you want to learn a little more and try again, or that you think you might be better suited to a different kind of game, this is actually a big step forward. It’s a big step forward, and it’s one you’ll cherish for the rest of your life.

Rather than filling your mind with anxiety and going through your day without doing anything, take just one step forward, even if you are anxious, if it’s something you are interested in, something you really want to try. What we feel will become an asset to us and will drive us towards our dreams. No one knows what we are capable of, and we are not limited by anyone. This means that we may be able to achieve our dreams. The power of self-belief is something that can only be achieved by taking a step forward, and taking it a little at a time. And you can praise yourself for taking the first step. Believe in your own unlimited power. You are the one who can bring it out.
