Lovely morning. The way we live our lives has changed dramatically in the last decade. This is because it has become increasingly common and familiar for each family member to have a mobile phone, so that even though they share the same space, their own minds are not in the same physical space as their family members.
That is not to say that this is a bad thing. We have benefited greatly from this state-of-the-art device. Moreover, over the past two years, as viruses have spread and ravaged not just one country but the entire world, this variety of internet-enabled devices has enabled us to exchange words with people we cannot see from afar, to see and speak to each other, and in times of crisis when we were not encouraged to leave our homes due to a declared state of emergency, these devices have enabled us not only to share our lives with others, but to do so with a greater sense of security and peace of mind.
They also allow people to work or study from home in times of crisis when they are not encouraged to leave their homes due to emergency declarations. If this device had not been developed, our minds would have been alone in the last two years and we would not have known what to do.
But no one can predict what will happen to the world we now exist in and when. And when it does, we can’t be sure that we won’t suddenly find ourselves unable to see our loved ones in person again. You have a long holiday called Golden Week, so if you have time to spend with your family, try to set aside some time to eat together, talk, laugh and talk about different things. It is possible that you may not really know the real value of the people and things that exist in front of you until they are no longer there. May each individual continue on his or her own path, cherishing the precious time with those whom he or she cares about, for many, many years to come. For those who do not, may their current situation improve and may they live in a peaceful situation with their loved ones and their families.
