Lovely morning. The other day some friends came to visit me at home for the first time in a while. Since the pandemic, we haven’t had as many opportunities to casually meet, talk and eat good food as we used to, so we had a good time together after a really long time. I cooked a light lunch and baked bread with raisins and walnuts by hand and waited excitedly for them to arrive.
The three of us talked about many things. We talked about everything from casual everyday life to the near and far future, about ourselves, our families and mutual friends, and time flew by. I felt again what a powerful thing it is to meet people face to face.
I also felt the power that people can give to others. Since the pandemic, the situation of each and every one of us has changed dramatically, and we are now expected to live in a new phase, rather than being able to go back to the past. It is difficult to maintain a good mental state, but it is important to be able to give good power and influence to the people around you and the environment you are in. Even though what we can do now is limited, the desire to cherish our dreams and to think about what we can do and to work positively in this situation will satisfy each and every one of us, and I feel that this will be a great power for each and every one of us.
My friends, who are always full of smiles, have also been thinking about and correcting a lot of things during the time I have not been able to see them, but they have been living positively and have brought a lot of their great power to me in the few hours that I have been with them. I could realise that meeting nice people gives us great power. Thanks to the time filled with friends, I was given the opportunity to think about various things again, and I was truly grateful that such time gives me my own vitality. I also felt that the power to make people happy comes naturally from the person themselves, rather than from being given it. It was a wonderful day that made me realise how important it is to cherish each and every day and to live while caring about the people and things around us.
