The middle of July has come and gone…

Lovely morning. The middle of July has come and gone. If we walk around the city, we are surrounded by the sound of cicadas and feel the arrival of summer. We feel how important it is for human life to feel the seasons. Yes, maybe it’s because we are part of nature.

It is said that the passage of time seems to speed up the older we get, but when we are asked whether the days we have been busy until today were ones that could be said to have been fulfilling simply because we were doing the tasks that were in front of us, or whether they were days when we felt a sense of fulfilment in our hearts that we had spent carefully, we sometimes feel that we have to reconsider.

Time flies, even if we do nothing about it. But I don’t think it’s a bad thing to have done nothing.

Sometimes it’s necessary to empty our heads and our hearts, to give our minds a rest, to build up our strength. Just as it is important for the skin to be moisturised, it is essential for the mind to be hydrated. A moment without thinking or doing anything is a precious moment, no matter what others may say, as long as your heart is content in that moment.

And everyday life is a series of small things. It’s the way your mind works that makes the difference between something meaningful and something that is a waste of time. And it is only when we do not neglect the little things, and do them with care, that even the most trivial things can become something of incomparable value to us. We make our own day. No one else can make it for us, but we make it for ourselves, doing our part, whether it be in business, doing the housework, studying, or taking care of the family. A life of joy and gratitude, no matter how insignificant, will allow you to be confident and responsible for your actions.
