The first day of autumn has passed. This is the day when the length of the day and the length of the night are the same, and after this day the night starts to come earlier and earlier. This is the day when the length of the day and the length of the night become the same. As we move towards the first day of spring, the daytime becomes longer and longer, and the length of the day and night become the same again.
Have you ever heard of the word “yin and yang”? In our universe, there is a law of Yin and Yang, in which everything has a contradictory nature of “Yin” and “Yang”, and it is this harmony that keeps the world going. In the West, there are two opposing ideas, but there is a difference in the way of thinking between the West and the East: the West thinks in terms of good and evil, while the East thinks in terms of yin and yang. In the West we think of good as good and bad as bad, but in the East there is no such thing as yin and yang, either good or bad. There is day and night, there is a shining sun and a beautiful moon, there is a woman and a man, heaven and earth, front and back, left and right, stillness and motion, etc. It is only when there is a balance between these two things that everything that happens in life happens smoothly.
However, in order to maintain this balance, there must be chi, which neutralises the two, or in other words, there must be an axis.In other words, there is balance only when there is an axis, and the two things that seem to be opposites for a moment are in balance because they are always helping each other. It’s no wonder that the negative thoughts that come to our minds are the ones that make us want to move forward, and it’s also the ones that keep us humble, even when things are going well. It is good to have a love for something so that you can keep your own axis in harmony.
