The desire to know may be a basic human need….

Lovely morning. The desire to know may be a basic human need. It is because of this desire that we humans have changed and evolved differently from other living beings on this planet. However, what I would like you to consider here is the fact that not knowing can cause fear.

For example, if you are involved in an unprecedented disaster, you don’t know what happened to the people actually there. If electricity and communications are cut off, we have no way of getting information. What rises up at that time is the feeling of wondering what is happening where you are, but also the fear of not knowing anything, why this is happening and what will happen in the future. If we know what is happening and why and what the situation is like, the fear gradually disappears and we feel ready to take some action.

However, there is also fear of knowing. Before seeing the results of a test, or not knowing the answer to a confession you made to a loved one, you may be eager to know the answer, but the thought of how you will feel if the result is not as you want it to be makes you want to end up not knowing. However, in this case, one thing is also clear: if you don’t know, you can’t move on. Even if the answer is not the one you wanted at the time, knowing the answer will allow you to move on to another option. You may feel a heartbreaking pain at the time, but time may gradually and gradually heal that pain, and you may be grateful for the new encounters you have made on your new chosen path.

Thanks to the development of science and technology, we live in a modern age and can know many things. And if you know something, it may be very important to think about it, even if only a little.  It will surely create something new for you and become a valuable knowledge that no one can take away from you and become a guidepost that will light up your way of life.
