Lovely morning. Learning something satisfies the curiosity within you and is inherently enjoyable. The joy you feel when you find out the reason or process behind something you wonder about or wonder why it is the way it is is indescribable. However, there may be many people for whom learning is suffering. And not only in learning, but also in challenging your own dreams, the joy you felt at first may turn out to be a kind of training and suffering.
Essentially, if you pursue an area of interest in depth, it becomes a natural learning process. You will then realise that learning is natural and enjoyable. However, if you start by simply learning about things that you don’t know what you are aiming for, have no interest in or curiosity about, only because you have to do it at school or because it is necessary for your job, then learning will naturally become nothing but pain.
Just as the principles of fulfilment and success are the same in any field, no matter what field you approach, you will always get to whatever you essentially need to learn. If you can first try to draw up a dream or a vision of the future – why you need to learn that thing and what you can become if you learn that thing – you will feel very different when you approach that thing.
When you start something you want to do and it turns out to be a struggle, you should stop and remember why you wanted to do it in the first place. And remember the excitement you felt when you started. Then you can start again with your own way of doing things that suits you and that you have been able to grasp because you have been working on it for so long.
