Lovely morning. Imagination enriches the way we look at life. It helps us to think about the position and feelings of the person we are talking to, to choose our words and to act accordingly. It also allows us to come up with ideas, to plan new tasks and to develop existing ones. It’s no exaggeration to say that thinking and imagining constantly enriches our minds.
So how do we develop this imagination? Of course, we need to be genuinely curious about things and have a pure heart, as we did when we were children. When we are young, we don’t care about what is good or bad, or what people think of us, so we let our imagination run wild, but as we grow older, we tend to worry about what people think of us, and our reasoning gets in the way.
To develop our imagination, let’s remember how we felt about things when we were children, and if we have time, we can even read books. It is fascinating to imagine what the author is really trying to say between the lines, to imagine the scene from the words, to imagine the faces of the characters, their clothes, the time period, the cold, the heat, even the smell. Imagination can also be enhanced by placing your mind in a world that is completely different from the one you are in, or by watching a film or drama that makes you feel and think about the story and the characters. You can also listen to beautiful music and feel the sparkle and tenderness of the infinite number of beautiful sounds played by instruments, or you can listen to people sing and feel the warmth, beauty, mystery and intensity of their voices.
By having several worlds of your own, your imagination will grow and you will be able to use it in many aspects of your daily life. And above all, it will help you to relax your mind, heart and body after a long day of work or study.
