Lovely morning. I feel that the heat of summer is becoming a little milder, and the cicadas are crying a little less loudly. I somehow think that autumn may be approaching little by little. There are only four and a half months left in this year. When I think about it, it really feels like it has flown by.
This time last year, I thought that the pandemic would be over and that we might be able to live freely as we did years ago, but the reality is that we still have to be careful about many things in our lives. When I look back on this year, I can see that there are some aspects that were fulfilling and some things that I started anew, but there are also some things that I need to reflect on. What I thought was the best thing to do at the time could have been done differently, or there could have been other ways to make things better.
There is a lot of room for improvement in our daily lives. When we look back on the past, regretting what we should have done or what we could have done differently will not bring back that time. We can learn from the past what we should have done, and we can move forward positively if we look to the future and think about what we should do or start something new.
Thinking of it this way, if we do not give up, we can start over again as many times as we want, and even if we cannot go back to our younger days, we can challenge ourselves at any age. Let’s keep thinking about the time in the future when we can make our dreams come true. Now, what on earth can I do today?
