Lovely morning. From time to time I am stunned by the overwhelmingly small amount of knowledge I have been able to acquire in my lifetime. I am even lost for words when I realise that something I took for granted in a book has a lot of background, or when I discover that a passage in a song I took for granted has a profound history and is filled with numerous thoughts and feelings. But at the same time, I am moved and grateful to have learned this fact. I am also grateful to myself for picking up the book at the bookshop and buying it, to the author for writing it, and to the person who also gave me the opportunity to read it.
And once again, I feel that we do not live alone, and that the world may be moving forward because each of us is here. Your presence can influence someone else’s behaviour without you realising it, and one word you say can change someone else’s consciousness. But maybe the difference is whether you realise that or not.
So there is no need to think that you can only do this, there is no limit to each person’s potential, what you encounter, what moves you, what you want to do, it can be very different, and even if you encounter the same thing, you can have different impressions and opinions from others. Accepting those differences, and knowing that you can also think about what you might be able to create from those differences, is something that is very valuable to be aware of. If you are not just given something, but if you are willing to take something from it, even if it is given to you, you may realise how important it is. Yes, and I think that at that root of the desire to know something and the joy of getting to know something may be the power to be moved.
