Lovely morning.A person who can be completely absorbed in something is actually a person who can tackle anything if it turns him/her on. It doesn’t matter if you’re playing a game and the sun goes up at dawn. If you’ve ever read a book in one sitting, watched an entire season of a TV drama straight through, gone for a jog every morning, or played the piano with no time to spare, you’ve had a great experience in life.
It’s a blessing to find something that you can lose yourself in, or something that you want to do so desperately. It doesn’t matter how good you are technically at first because if you’re doing something you’re not passionate about, even if you have the ability to do it, it’s not going to take off.Loving something is such a powerful force that it can cause great things to happen.
As an English teacher, I think it is very important to motivate each student in order for them to develop a great command of English. Most high school students and adults know exactly why they are coming to learn English and are highly motivated, but most young children come to learn English because their parents want them to and we are always trying to find ways to make English fun for them.The students who have fallen in love with English and have been able to stay with it have shown a definite increase in their ability.
What’s more, if you are passionate about something,you will find a way to explore it. And it doesn’t matter how old you are when it comes to what you are passionate about. It’s important to be enthusiastic about something with the innocence of a child, and the timing of your encounter is perfect. It can be scary to take the first step, but you don’t have to wait for it to happen.
You never know what’s waiting for you. You have to be curious and take action. You may find that it’s not what you thought it would be, you may find that it’s something you want to continue doing, or you may find that it opens up a whole new world to you. Sometimes it’s only when you meet something and get stuck into it that you realise what it’s all about.
